It’s not always about tattoos.

I’ve been running for the last year and a half and in that time I’ve accomplished a lot of personal goals. I competed in and finished my first 50k trail race back in November and again this last weekend competed in a 25k mountain race on Orcas Island. The race was hosted by the wonderful people at Rainshadow Running and the course is just shy of 16 miles with a little over 4,500 feet of elevation gain. You gain almost all the elevation in a three mile stretch while running up to the top of Mt. Constitution. It is without a doubt, the hardest race I’ve ever participated in.
