Toughest client ever!!!

This last Wednesday and Thursday Jason had his out of town client Robyn from Colorado put on a clinic on how to get tattooed. After getting drawn on for a few hours each day she proceeded to not make everyone else look bad but make them look worse. She probably got tattooed for about 12-14 hours in the grueling 2 day span. All line work as well.

Here’s a couple sneak peaks of the pile of work she got….

Ed, he was cooler than you

A good customer of the shop passed away recently at 82. Ed immigrated from Germany, joined the US army and eventually settled in Seattle. He would ride a motorcycle from there to Saint Paul Minnesota to work on his body suit with Don Nolan. Ed always wanted a Polynesian tattoo on his face and eventually made his way to Art Work Rebels to get tattooed by Joe Larralde. Joe tattooed his right cheek and they were working on artwork for the other cheek and forehead. Ed would stop in frequently to talk, and we’re bummed he won’t be back with more stories of the way tattooing was and should be.

Monkeying around…

I guess it’s technically a gorilla, but who’s keeping score? Got to do this fun walk in on Max the other day. He picked it right from my line drawing book. I accept walk ins almost everyday, so stop on by and pick a fun one!

Joe Larralde is back tattooing after a quick break with the new baby. Come get your Polynesian, black work, or geometric tattoos for the new year.

Artsy

With the start of the new year and winter being in full swing, things have been a little quiet around the shop. This has allowed me to dust off my paintbrushes and make some “art”. Here’s a work in progress for a special someone down South. If you’d like a tattoo in this style shoot me an email at sundelin@hotmail.com and we’ll make it happen.

2016

It’s a new year and Josiah Laughlin’s schedule is open for new multi session tattoos. Call the Art Work Rebels Tattoo or come by NorthWest 23rd to set up a consult. Here is a recent Kintaro 1/2 sleeve study he did, which would make an excellent Japanese tattoo.

Good morning 2016!!!

Hey everyone, we are doing big new things for the new year here at Art Work Rebels. Stay tuned for new tattoos and new artwork that you can’t find anywhere else except here in the shop or on the blog.

A big thank you to all our great customers last year! We all can’t wait for all the new customers this year and all our great repeating ones.
