Around the shop we all get a chance to be around each other & reap the benefits having such a good group of guys to bounce idea’s off of. The owners of the Bye&Bye & The Sweet Hereafter stopped by to collectively get tattoos this week. The bar owners have two great bars in the city, one of two recently opened on SE Belmont. Both bars offer food as well as drinks & a full vegan cuisine for those so inclined.

The 23rd.
This Friday is the 23rd & we will be offering our Portland flash all day for $150. Here are a few samples of some new sheets we have been cooking up. Alot of new flash on it’s way. The 23rd is always first come first serve.

The Swifts Are Back.
During the month of September every year, here in Portland. The swifts migrate & make a stop here in the NW. They roost in a large chimney located in NW Portland’s Alphabet District. At dusk the spiral out in a cascade that is nothing short of amazing.

Ping Portland.
If you are looking for a great happy hour here in Portland I think there isn’t a better one than what they have at Ping. The sister restaurant to Pok Pok. They offer such things as a Chinese Tea Egg ( a hard boiled egg steeped in black tea w/ soy sauce ginger & ginger) to a sweet pork bun that will knock your socks off. The happy hour menu is full of affordable & tasty items. The happy hour is offered daily from 2:00 – 5:30pm.

Neurosis In Portland.
There are very few things or bands for that matter that can draw us out for the night, but Neurosis is one of those bands. Neurosis was playing at the Roseland along w/ Yob & Grails. A few of us from the shop & some of our buddies from Nemesis Jiu Jitsu caught the show last night. Let’s just say it doesn’t get much better then that. All the bands were good & Neurosis brought down the house. Hard to beat something that good.

Stockholm 2011
Here are some pictures from Jason’s trip to Stockholm. He had worked the convention & did a little sight seeing & a lot of tattooing while he was there. More new pictures to come.
The Portland Tattoo Expo is right around the corner & we will be working it again this year. We will be offering our hand drawn Oregon designs for $150 all weekend long. We have also added new sheets full of new designs. The Portland themed flash is first come, first serve.
