Joe has been getting to do Polynesian work in many forms recently & here’s a little preview. Blank canvas, tying into an existing tattoo, or working some Polynesian into a larger tattoo such as this octopus are all welcomed by Joe. Call the shop for more info or to speak with Joe.

The Boss is heading to Melbourne, Australia to work at his good friend Trevor McStays’s Dynamic Tattoo on Monday. He will be there through the end of the month. We will miss our fearless leader dearly, and look forward to having our minds blown by videos of toilet water going the wrong way.

One of Jeff P’s new paintings is going to be shown and for sale at Grindcore House in south Philadelphia in order to raise money for Bat Conservation International in their fight against White Nose Syndrome. If you can, please go check it out, and you just might find somethin new to take home.

We will be at the Oregon Ink convention in Eugene the last week of this month. Mike V., Ross Carlson, & Joel Baca will be in attendance for the shop. If you’re interested in getting tattooed contact the guys through email or call the shop.
To My Loyal Customers & Friends,
For a quite a few years now I have been running a feverish pace to better serve all of you, and it’s been my honor to be able to adorn so many of you with my tattoos, but the pace at which I’ve been working at over the years has left little time for my daughter Lula & personal life. My daughter is the most important part of my life and I need to be able to spend more time with her, so effective immediately I will be taking an additional day off each week & cutting back on travel. What this means to my current and future customers is that my schedule will be booking out further for both existing & new projects, and that it is highly unlikely I will be able to occasionally squeeze people in.
I look forward to your continued support & and thank you all for being such great clients & friends.
-Jason
Ross will be down in LA at The Dolorosa Tattoo Company April 12th-14th. He still has some availability, so send him an email at sundelin@hotmail.com for appointment information.
As spring starts to set in activity around the shop has been on the rise. The guys have been comin and goin on trips here and there, and Ross was recently brought in as a full time member of the AWR shop. The weather may be fluctuating pretty rapidly, but don’t let that keep you from comin and and gettin a nice new piece to show off as the warmer months start to roll in.

Jason was down in San Francisco at
Seventh Son & in Berkeley at
War Horse Tattoo last week working on his Bay Area clientele. Aside from coming down with a little illness he got to see good friends at both shops, as well as at Goorin Brothers’ “Ratback@’cha” presentation of Fate’s new work at the
Cassel Gallery.
Here’s a little look at what he was up to while back in The Bay.

We are excited to welcome Ross Carlson to our full time roster. Ross has been working here part time for almost a year, and last week Jason & the guys made the decision to bring him on full time. Along with having one more great tattooer aboard; this also will be bringing a shuffle to all the other guy’s schedules. Ross starts full time on April 9th, and will be making a trip down to Southern California to guest spot at The Dolorosa from April 12th-14th. Keep an eye on the main site, as we will be adding brief bios on all the dudes as well as their schedules.
For schedule or booking inquiries on any of our tattooers feel free to call the shop- (503)477-6190
Things are busy around the shop. Portland also had a few much needed warm days this week. With the nice weather, we do our best to take advantage of things outside of the shop. The guys at the
shop have been adding new designs to our Portland flash. And with the 23rd just a few days ago (being a huge success), everybody has been chipping in to keep that flash going strong. We also just recently added Ross Carlson to our full-time roster. So a lot of great stuff is on the horizon. Joel has been busy at work drawing, tattooing, and painting new flash. Here are a few new things he has been up to…
To make an appointment with Joel, call the shop (503.477.6190.) or email him at joelbaca2@gmail.com.
